What makes a good charcuterie? What are the essentials to creating an impressive charcuterie board for guests, or just for yourself?
The basic foundation of most Charcuterie Boards:
Different Meats and Cheeses
Crackers, bite-sized bread,
Veggies and Fruit.
Grapes, Apples, cherry tomatoes, and nuts (if you want to include these, it’s not necessary, especially if you are allergic).
Chocolates (if you want to add something sweet to your salty).
How to make the selection visually appealing:
Cut the meat into different shapes, and fold the meat in different ways.
Cut up cheese into different shapes - cubes, strips, crumble some.
There’s not an ugly charcuterie board, go with your gut and add what you like to eat.
