1. Temperature - Make sure the epoxy itself is at a proper temperature - being cold or too warm can have negative effects.

2. Ratio - Make sure you measure correctly! If you are using two part epoxy, you need to make sure each part is equal. Always read the literature that comes with the epoxy you purchase.

3. Mixing - Read the literature that comes with the epoxy you purchase! It will let you know what the ratio between each part is as well as how long you should mix each part together. Typically itโ€™s 3-5 minutes of mixing. Make sure you are scrapping the sides and bottom of the cup and take a look at the resin itself and ask yourself: Does it look clear? Does it look as if there are slivers of trails running throughout? If the answer is no then keep mixing!
